OBITUARY
Funeral services for Mr. S. A. "Sam" Buttrill, of Woodland, age 92, will be 2:00 pm, Monday May 31, 2010, from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with his two sons, Winford Buttrill and Byron Buttrill officiating. Burial to follow in Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday, May 30, 2010.
Mr. Buttrill died Friday, May 28, 2010, at Adams Nursing Home.
Survivors include two sons, Winford Buttrill of Navarre, FL and Byron Buttrill of Woodland; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great randchildre; three great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be chip, David, Chris, Dewayne, Daniel and Jonathan Buttrill.
Mr. Buttrill was born, January 11, 1918, the son of Sam and Mamie Otwell Buttrill. He had been a self-employed carpenter. Mr. Buttrill was preceded in death by his wife, Cora Thelma Buttrill; his parents; three brothers; two sisters.
