Obituary of Ann Lynch Jones

OBITUARY Funeral services for Mrs. Ann Lynch Jones, of Wadley, age 78, will be held Monday, July 19, 2010, at 2:00 pm, from Wadley First United Methodist Church with Rev. Zenus Windsor and Rev. Sherill Corson officiating. Burial to follow in Wadley Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 to 2:00 pm on Monday, July 19th. Mrs. Jones died Saturday, July 17, 2010 at her home. Survivors include two daughters, Marsha (husband Leonard) Mosley of Thomaston, Ginga (husband Tony) Sweatt of Wadley; two sons, Len (wife Kathleen) Jones of Shorter, Tim (wife Tammy) Jones of Auburn; two sisters, Maurice Moore of Wadley, Marilyn Breed of Ashland; one brother, Paul Lynch of Huntsville; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ron Young, Ray Jones, Ryan Jones, Ben Sweeney, Trey Allen, and Steven Griffies. Mrs. Jones was born, July 12, 1932, the daughter of Clifford and Mary Pearson Lynch. She was a member of the Wadley First United Methodist Church and had been a homemaker. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Jones; her parents; one brother, Curtis Lynch. Flowers will be accepted or donations to either, Wadley Cemetery Fund or Wadley First United Methodist Church.
