Funeral services for Jerry Lynn Shoults, age 47, of Roanoke will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at 2:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Stanley Yarbrough and Randy Sewell officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Friday, March 13, 2015.
Mr. Shoults passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.
Survivors include his wife, Dara Shoults of Roanoke; four daughters, Briski Shoults of Birmingham, Caitlin Shoults, Jordan Shoults, and Noel Shoults, all of Missouri; Stepdaughter, Mariah Lynn Mitchell of Roanoke; three stepsons, Christopher Dylan Mauldin, James Cody Mauldin, and Hunter Andrew Mitchell, all of Roanoke; Mother and stepfather, Dorothy and Randy Sewell of Murphy, NC; and one sister, Janel Shoults Willougby of Chattanooga, TN.
Pallbearers will be Alabama Power Personnel.
An Ohio native, Mr. Shoults was born on October 24, 1967, the son of Gary Shoults and Dorthy Holmes Sewell. He worked as an operations lineman for Alabama Power. Mr. Shoults was preceded in death by his father.
