Dearest Ruth, Karene, Donna, George, and Scott,
grandkids and great-grandkids,
Like everyone in the family, I will miss Uncle Parker so much. I remember him from my very earliest childhood being always the smiling guy happy to see you, ready with a joke and a smile and a hug and some bit of news that was personal and only for you, meant to make you feel special and valued. Parker paid attention to people. He was a man of great character and he lived a life that was important to so many people. He loved his family and they loved him back. I was privileged to know him all my life and to call him my uncle.
