Judy was my step-mother. I know she had no idea what she was getting herself into when she met me. I was just a little city girl coming to the country. When I saw the hunting dogs and their puppies locked up in cages, I felt so sorry for them that I decided to set them all free. They had a blast that day. Needless to say, Judy was none too happy with me. That was our first visit. I will always remember her as young, vibrant, and beautiful and how much she loved my father, and "her girls." They were all so important to her life. She loved being a wife and a mother. Judy decorated the most beautiful bedroom a young teenage girl could have ever dreamed of having. I loved it and can still picture it vividly even today.. I loved Judy and am grateful for all the happy memories I will forever have because she was a part of my life. She left us far too soon.

Tabatha and Donna you have been and are in my thoughts and prayers . Thought so much of Judy. We were lifelong friends even though we didn't see each other often, we always could just pick back up like it had only been a day or two. I will miss her,

I have wondered about Judy so many times. I always thought I would see her again. She was a good sweet friend, I should have found her and stayed in touch. I am so sorry she is gone.
I miss Mr. and Mrs. Taft so much, they were such sweet people and wonderful neighbors to my Granny. Donna, I'll never forget the night y'all took me riding around when my Granny was sick. Fun!
I have a video of Judy the day Jennifer missed her kindergarten Valentine's day party because my Granny was sick. Jennifer was so upset that she was missing the party, but most of all the piñata! Judy just happened to have a piñata, so we put candy in it and threw Jennifer a party.
One night when Judy was living at home taking care of her Dad, she fell asleep with gum in her mouth and Jennifer and I spent hours getting the gum and her tangled glasses out of her hair. She kept saying "Just cut it!" lol.. she would have had a big bald spot in front if we had done that. Good times! :D
