Funeral services for Junior Lee Price, age 81, of Chattanooga, TN, formerly of Randolph and Tallapoosa Counties, will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2015, at 2:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM on Sunday.
Mr. Price passed away on July 24, 2015.
Survivors include his wife, Betty J. Price of Chattanooga, TN; one daughter, Deborah Hudson of Chattanooga, TN; one son, Frank Lee Price of Dothan; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Hudson, Charlie Hudson, Brandon Smith, Trevor Price, Robert Hudson, and Joe Hudson.
A Randolph County native, Mr. Price was born on December 25, 1933, the son of Jordan Monroe and Mary Huddleston Price. He was Baptist by faith, a Korean War veteran, and worked for Big Star Foods as a meat market manager. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Charlie Monroe Price; two sisters, Ina Mickle and Velma Crowley; and four brothers, Mayo, Ethridge, Clifford, and Charlie Monroe "Duck" Price.
