Funeral services for Ferlin Wayne Hill, age 53, of Roanoke will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015, at 11:00 AM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Mike Brewer officiating. Burial will follow at Wehadkee Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Friday, July 31, 2015.
Mr. Hill passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at West Georgia Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Katrina Hill of Rock Mills; one daughter, Marie Cummings of Rock Mills; one son, Cahlon Hill (wife, Courtney) of Rock Mills; five grandchildren, Kaydee Cu
mmings, Jake Cummings, Ethan Hodges, Cambree Hill, and Conner Fisher; his mother, Willardean Hill of Rock Mills; two sisters, Robin Eubanks of Panama City, FL, and Lynn Napier of Rock Mills; two brothers, Ray Hill of Franklin, GA, and Ronnie Hill of Rock Mills; and his mother-in-law, LaRose Surowic of Hogansville, GA.
Pallbearers will be Don Smith, Mike Owens, Wayne Glass, Webb Glass, Richard Hand, Kevin Cummings, and Jake Cummings.
A Roanoke native, Mr. Hill was born on October 28, 1961, the son of Rufus Leon and Willardean Lawson Hill. He worked as a pipe fitter for Newberry Industrial. Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Johnny Faron Hill; and one sister, Anita Hill.

About Us
Quattlebaum’s was founded in 1930 by Robert B. Quattlebaum on Roanoke’s West Point Street. Relocated to Maple Drive, Quattlebaum Funeral Home was just across from Knight Sanatorium for many years. In 1953, a new building was constructed on College Street – where the funeral home is today.
