Funeral services for Marcelle W. Fincher, age 97, of LaGrange, Georgia, will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2015, at 2:00 PM CST from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lee Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Grove Congregational Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00-2:00 PM on Sunday, October 18, 2015.
Mrs. Fincher passed away Friday, October 16, 2015, at LaGrange Health and Rehab.
Survivors include many nieces and nephews.
A longtime Lagrange resident, Mrs. Fincher was born in Cullman County, Alabama, on October 7, 1918, the daughter of Joseph and Electra Wilson Wilder. She was a member of Liberty Grove Congregational Methodist Church and worked as a seamstress for Callaway Mills and Milliken. Mrs. Fincher was a member of the Callaway 25 Year Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Fincher; five sisters, Etha Yarbrough, Letha Haynes, Hermis Huey, Lessie Cosper, and Naoma Canady; and three brothers, Wilson Wilder, J.C. Wilder, and Calvin Wilder.
