Funeral services for Ora Thelma Lee, age 94, of Roanoke will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2015, at 2:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Dr. Ben Bailie officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00-2:00 PM on Sunday, October 25, 2015.
Mrs. Lee passed away Friday, October 23, 2015, at Traylor’s Nursing Center.
Survivors include: one daughter, Cathy McKinney (husband, Jim) of Roanoke and three grandchildren, Donna Craft (husband, Andy) of Griffin, GA, Tammy Satterwhite of Panama City, FL, and Brandon McKinney of Austin, TX.
A Randolph County native, Mrs. Lee was born on October 13, 1921, the daughter of Sam and Lula Whaley Young. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and was a housewife. Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Ernest Lee; five sisters; and five brothers.
Memorials may be floral or donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Roanoke.
