OBITUARY
Funeral services for, Mrs. Doris Louise Butler, age 72, of Roanoke, will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, October 30, 2010, from the Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tim Whaley and Rev. Ridley Herren officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home on Friday, October 29, 2010.
Mrs. Butler died Thursday, October 28, 2010 at the home of her daughter, Lisa.
Mrs. Butler is survived by three daughters, Lisa Taylor of Roanoke, Glenda Rogers of Ephesus, Cathy Windsor of Roanoke; one son, Jimmy Butler of Cragford; three sisters, Mary Overton of LaGrange, GA, Marie Risley of Villa Rica, GA, Faye Loveless of Savannah, GA; two brothers, Farron McKee of Douglasville, GA, Don McKee of Ranburne, seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be David Harper, Tim Harper, David Overton, Charles Overton, Bobby Joe Overton, Jeremy Harris and Jason Harris.
Mrs. Butler was born, November 6, 1937, the daughter of Bud and Willie Huckabee McKee. She was of the Baptist faith and had been a housewife. Mrs. Butler was preceded in death by her husband, James Fred Butler; her parents; one son, Wayne Butler; ten brothers and sisters. Condolences may be expressed at www.quattlebaumfuneralhome.com.
