Graveside services for Annie Ree Fisher, age 81, of Roanoke, will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2015, at 10:00 AM from Randolph Memory Gardens with Rev. Jeff Burns and Rev. Tim Whaley officiating and Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 28, 2015.
Mrs. Fisher passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at her home.
Survivors include her husband, Curtis Fisher of Roanoke; one daughter, Deanna Fisher McLucas of Lanett; one son, David Fisher of Roanoke; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Wilma Mitchell of Lineville.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Potts, Mike Potts, Jackie Potts, Lance Fisher, Luke Fisher, and Dustin Hill.
A lifelong resident of Randolph County, Mrs. Fisher was born on November 2, 1933, the daughter of C.P. and Arbelle Freeman Cummings. She attended Trinity Baptist Church, Ruth’s Sunday School Class, and had worked for Palm Beach as a presser. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Danny Fisher; one grandson, Josh Fisher; and one brother, Awbrey Cummings.

Quattlebaum’s was founded in 1930 by Robert B. Quattlebaum on Roanoke’s West Point Street. Relocated to Maple Drive, Quattlebaum Funeral Home was just across from Knight Sanatorium for many years. In 1953, a new building was constructed on College Street – where the funeral home is today.
