Obituary of Shirley Faye Findley Pike

Graveside services for Shirley Faye Findley Pike, age 80, of Lanett, formerly of Randolph County, will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at 2:00 PM CST from Mt. Zion Christian Church Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Johnson officiating and Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Pike passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at Lanier Hospital. Survivors include her husband, Walter Leroy “Roy” Pike of Lanett; two daughters, Sherrye Pike Johnson (husband, Marty) of Lanett and Cindy Pike Vetrano (husband, Frank) of Birmingham; four grandchildren, Cristy Johnson Watkins, Matthew David Johnson, Lucy Ward Vetrano, and Walter Franklin Vetrano; and three great-grandchildren. A Randolph County native, Mrs. Pike was born on July 16, 1935, the daughter of John Willie Hooper and Mary Lucille Ward Findley. She was a member of Lanier Baptist Church and a former member of Mt. Zion Christian Church. Mrs. Pike was the owner of Pike’s Flower Den in Valley, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Mary Jim Findley Ramsey.
