Graveside services for Sara Davis Pearson, age 89, of Eufaula, AL, formerly of Wadley, will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at 11:00 AM from Wadley Cemetery with Ben Fennick officiating and Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at Wadley First United Methodist Church after the service on Tuesday.
Mrs. Pearson passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2016, at Crowne Health Care of Eufaula.
Survivors include one daughter, Joy Fennick (Ben) of Eufaula; two sons, Morgan Milton Pearson III (Barbara) of Eufaula and David Pearson (Jennifer) of Asheville, NC; five grandsons, Christopher Pearson (Mandy), Jonathan Fennick, Jordan Fennick (Kim), Gray Pearson, and Owen Pearson; and two great-granddaughters, Jessica and Morgan.
Mrs. Pearson was born on March 11, 1926, the daughter of James Mather and Lora Sims Davis. She was a member of Wadley First United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Pearson was very active in the Wadley community for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Milton Pearson; and her brother, Edwin Davis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Wadley First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 14, Wadley, AL 36276.

Quattlebaum’s was founded in 1930 by Robert B. Quattlebaum on Roanoke’s West Point Street. Relocated to Maple Drive, Quattlebaum Funeral Home was just across from Knight Sanatorium for many years. In 1953, a new building was constructed on College Street – where the funeral home is today.
