OBITUARY
Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Windsor Adcock, of Roanoke, age 89, will be held Sunday, November 1, 2009, at 2:00 pm from the Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bill Dean and Rev. Larry Armstrong officiating. Burial to follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Saturday, October 31, 2009.
Mrs. Adcock died Friday, October 30, 2009 at Traylor Nursing Home.
Survivors include two sons, Mike Adcock of Sharpsburg, GA, Windsor Stanley Adcock of Tunnel Hill, GA; one sister, Faye Green of Jacksonville, FL; two grandchildren, Ryan Adcock and Matt Adcock.
Mrs. Adcock was born October 23, 1920, the daughter of Sylvester and Delonia Brown Windsor. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and had been a secretary for the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Adcock was preceded in death by her parents.
