Obituary of David A. Hodges

David A. Hodges was born March 22, 1957, in Roanoke, AL, and passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016, at 6:20 a.m. He was the son of Clarence Hodges and Darie Thomas Hodges. Surviving are his wife, Linda Hodges; daughter, Farrah Hodges; step-son, Carl Franklin (Donna); brothers, Donald, Joey and Clay Hodges; sister, Donna Hodges; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a step-son, Robert Allen Franklin. David was owner and operator of Hodges Western Outlet in Cayce and owner of Tri-State Maintenance Construction. He was employed by Duracell in Lancaster, SC. David retired from Proctor and Gamble in Lancaster, SC. He was a member of Fish Hatchery Church of God in Gaston, SC. Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Fish Hatchery Church of God. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the church. There will be another service at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel on Monday, June 20, 2016, at 1:00 pm with visitation from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials made be made in honor of David A. Hodges to Leukemia Cancer Society (www.leukemiacancersociety.org).
