OBITUARY
Graveside services for Ervin Randall Smith, Jr. age 56, of Roanoke, formerly of Valley, will be held Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at 2:00 pm from Cedarwood Cemetery with Rev. Greg Norred officiating.
The family will receive friends at Quattlebaum Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 14th.
Mr. Smith died Monday, December 13, 2010, at East Alabama Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Smith of Roanoke; his mother, Helen Smith of Portland, Oregon; one son, Jamie Ray Smith of Valley; a step-son, Joey Hand of Roanoke; a brother, Paul Smith of Portland, Oregon; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brett Clark, D. J. Barfield, William Wilkerson, Alan Christian and Jamie Hudman.
A Chambers County native, Mr. Smith was born July 2, 1954, son of Ervin Randall Smith, Sr. and Helen Worthy Smith. He had been employed with Daviston Electric, LaGrange, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorials may be floral or the family suggests contributions to Children's Hospital (1600 Seventh Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35233).
