Obituary of Jimmie Ann Knight

OBITUARY Funeral services for Jimmie Ann Knight, age 78, of Wadley, will be held Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at 12 noon at Corinth Christian Church with Rev. Ricky Cummings and Rev. Bobby Burroughs officiating. Burial will follow at the adjoining cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday. Mrs. Knight died Tuesday, December 14th at her home. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, O. C. Knight of Wadley; two daughters, Carolyn Sue Knight of Wadley and Theresa Joye Blankenship of Auburn; two sons, Oliver Joe Knight of Wadley and Alan Lee Knight of Roanoke; one sister, Emma Phillips of Valley; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. A lifelong Randolph County resident, Mrs. Knight was born December 5, 1932, daughter of Eli and Roxie Parker Hester. She was a member of Corinth Christian Church and had retired from Stephanie Fashions. She was preceded in death by her parents and ten brothers & sisters.
