OBITUARY
Funeral services for Curtis G. Calhoun, age 86, of Wadley, will be held Thursday, December 16, 2010, at 11:00 am from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jack Womack officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, December 15th.
Mr. Calhoun died Monday, December 13, 2010, at Bethany House in Auburn.
Survivors include his wife, Vina Calhoun of Wadley; one brother, Howard Calhoun of Wedowee; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; and two great-grandsons.
A Randolph County native, Mr. Calhoun was born June 25, 1924, son of J. E. and Viola Smith Calhoun. He was a resident of Detroit for 30 years and had been employed with General Motors. He was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Calhoun and a granddaughter, Teresa Gilliland.
