Obituary of Eva Mae Waldrep

Funeral services for Eva Mae Waldrep, age 69, of Roanoke will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at 12:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jody Overton officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-9:00 PM on Friday, November 4, 2016.
Mrs. Waldrep passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016, at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include: one son, Patrick Waldrep of Roanoke; one adopted son, Roger Harmon of Hughley, AL; one grandson, Dustin Waldrep; one sister, Sara Harmon Cofield of Ranburne; and one brother, Doogie Harmon of Ranburne.
Pallbearers will be Michael Goss, Brian Goss, Wesley Moon, Steven Adams, Shane Adams, and Scott Harmon.
A Wedowee native, Mrs. Waldrep was born on March 21, 1947, the daughter of Gordon and Elsie White Harmon. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at Broughton and was a homemaker. Mrs. Waldrep was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hershel Wayne Waldrep; an adopted daughter, Tammy Harmon Taylor; and three brothers, Truman Harmon, Ray Harmon and Marlton Harmon.

About Us
Quattlebaum’s was founded in 1930 by Robert B. Quattlebaum on Roanoke’s West Point Street. Relocated to Maple Drive, Quattlebaum Funeral Home was just across from Knight Sanatorium for many years. In 1953, a new building was constructed on College Street – where the funeral home is today.
