Funeral services for Cindy M. Hester, age 55, of Roanoke will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016, at 11:00 AM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tim Whaley and Rev. Scott Whaley officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, December 8, 2016.
Ms. Hester passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at her residence.
Survivors include her daughter, Breanna Hester of Roanoke; one sister, Robbie Whaley of Roanoke; and her companion, Johnny Smith of Roanoke.
Pallbearers will be Roger Hester, Andy Lipham, Keenan Gosdin, Brandon Hester, Jason Walker, and Lee Cameron.
A Randolph County native, Ms. Hester was born on November 17, 1961, the daughter of H.S. and Yvonne Gosdin Whaley. She worked as a weaver at Mohawk. Ms. Hester was preceded in death by her parents.
