Obituary of Rebecca Ann Behel

Memorial services for Rebecca Ann Behel, age 71, of Roanoke, formerly of Muscle Shoals, will be held Friday, December 30, 2016, at 3:00 pm from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Pastor Chris Martin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour beginning at 2:00 pm on Friday. Mrs. Behel died Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika. Survivors include one daughter, Suzanne Holt (husband, Greg) of Northport; one son, Jerry Traylor of Muscle Shoals; and three grandchildren. A LaGrange, Georgia native, Mrs. Behel was born September 14, 1945, the daughter of Wyatt and Lois Benefield Pool. She was a member of Roanoke First United Methodist Church and was a retired Registered Nurse. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, O’Neal Behel.
