Funeral services for Brenda Joyce Chatman, age 66, of Franklin, GA, will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2016, at 12:00 noon CST from Olive Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Rodney Roquemore officiating. Burial will follow at Caney Head Methodist Church Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00-12:00 Noon CST on Saturday, December 31, 2016.
Mrs. Chatman passed away on December 28, 2016 at her residence.
Survivors include: two daughters, June Phillips (husband, Galen) of Franklin and Darlene Holloway (husband, Michael) of Roanoke; one step-son, Danny Chatman (wife, Susie); five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Jerry Daniel (wife, Mary Ann) of Franklin; and special friend, Lisa Mitchum of Woodland.
Pallbearers will be Larry Barber, Chase Holloway, Rodney Daniel, Bubba Gaddis, George Nopwaskey, and Ed Mitchum.
A Franklin native, Mrs. Chatman was born on December 30, 1949, the daughter of Noah and Agnes Pike Daniel. She was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church and worked at Pruitt Health Care. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Junior Chatman; one granddaughter, Ashley Gaddis; and two brothers, Charles Daniel and James Daniel.
