Very sorry for your loss, he and my dad were friends for a long time. I still hear their exchange of words each time they would leave each others company, Daddy world tell Ted " You be good and i'll be pretty" then Ted would reply, no, "You be good and i'll be pretty" words that should be engraved on both their headstones! Words that they exchanged as long as i can remember. Two great friends reunited once again. Thanks for the memories Ted!!

Sweet family , so very sorry to hear about Ted . Have known him and the family many many years. When we were young and playing softball in Rock Mills we would talk a lot so we go back a long way . He was a sweet and dear person and will be missed. We send love, thoughts, and prayers to all !!

Quattlebaum’s was founded in 1930 by Robert B. Quattlebaum on Roanoke’s West Point Street. Relocated to Maple Drive, Quattlebaum Funeral Home was just across from Knight Sanatorium for many years. In 1953, a new building was constructed on College Street – where the funeral home is today.
