Obituary of Raymond Jeffrey "Jeff" Teel
Funeral services for Raymond “Jeff” Teel, age 64, of Roanoke will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017, at 2:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. S.T. Janney officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery – Broughton.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, April 27, 2017.
Mr. Teel passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.
Survivors include his wife, Naomi Bozeman Teel; one sister, Jackie Teel of Summerville, TX; two brothers, John Teel and Jerry Teel, both of Hobbs, New Mexico; special aunts and uncles, Wayne and Mary Webster and Rayford and Diane Farrington; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Donna Bozeman.
A Colorado native, Mr. Teel was born on May 31, 1952, the son of Ray and Edith Emola Brooks Teel. He was Christian by faith and worked as a material handler at Plantation Patterns. Mr. Teel was preceded in death by his parents; grandfather, John Tom Brooks; and grandmother, Minnie Lee Brooks.
