Obituary of Clifford Bailey

Graveside services for Clifford Bailey, age 74, of Woodland, will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017, at 11:00 AM from Prospect Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Taft and Ty Bailey officiating. Quattlebaum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Bailey passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Roanoke Healthcare.

Survivors include: one daughter, Pam Bailey of Woodland; one son, Mike Bailey (wife, June) of Woodland; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Andy Bailey, Jeff Huddleston, Bo Bailey, Clint Bailey, and Michael Heard.  Honorary pallbearer will be Tate Bailey.

A Woodland native, Mr. Bailey was born on November 29, 1942, the son of Hulett and Eula Moore Bailey.  He was a member of Prospect Congregational Methodist Church and had been self-employed as a cattle farmer.  Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marilyn Heard Bailey; two brothers, Cecil Bailey and Roger Bailey; one sister, Gwen Wilson.
