Obituary of Hazel Sprayberry

Funeral services for Hazel Sprayberry, age 81, of Roanoke, will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at 3:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Chuck Potts officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Monday, October 30, 2017.

Mrs. Sprayberry passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017, at her home.

Survivors include four daughters, Peggie Nutt (husband, Darrell), Mary Smith (husband, Shane), Shirley Clark, and Lucy Harmon (husband, Kenneth); three sons, Ray Sprayberry, Charles Sprayberry, and Andy Sprayberry (wife, Cindy); four step-children; 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Mattie Stephens, Janice Brown, Eloise Higginbothom, and Betty Sprayberry.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Harmon, Jr., Blake Anderson, Cole Sprayberry, Brandon Clark, Joseph Mitchell, and Junior Stevens.

A Fayette County, GA native, Mrs. Sprayberry was born on January 26, 1936, the daughter of Lodi and Sarah Louise Short Landrum. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Daniel Sprayberry and Bobby Sprayberry; two step-children; two great-grandchildren; and 16 brothers and sisters.
