Bob Manard posted a condolence

Bobby was my expert in several cases and he not only went out of his way to help my clients but stood his ground under sometime withering cross examination. He never wavered and the juries loved him. They could see his honesty and sincerity. In fact I would always hope he would be challenged by the insurance co lawyer because he only got stronger.
He was also my friend. We have known each other for 40 years and I loved to talk with him about everything. He was extremely bright but never condescending. Many other attorneys here in New Orleans feel much like I do. He will be sorely missed. My deepest sympathy for Courtney, Ellen and the rest of the family. My prayers are with you.
