Obituary of Frances Elizabeth Steen

Funeral services for Frances Elizabeth Steen, age 80, of Woodland, will be held Thursday, November 2, 2017, at 1:00 pm from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Stanley Yarbrough officiating.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm on Thursday.

Mrs. Steen died Monday, October 30, 2017, at West Georgia Health Center in LaGrange.

Survivors include two daughters, April McCollough (husband, Jeff) of Woodland and Bridgett Tankersley (husband, David) of Valley; one son, Brant Steen (wife, Kathy) of Franklin, Ga.; one sister, Margaret Stillwell of Lineville; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A Randolph County native, Mrs. Steen was born April 1, 1937, the daughter of Winnie Calhoun Freeman.  She had been an LPN with Traylor’s Nursing Home.  She was preceded in death by her mother; brother, Tommy Freeman and a daughter, Leisa Steen.
