Obituary of Tony Lamar Carlyle

Memorial services for Tony Lamar Carlyle, age 46, of Roanoke, will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2017, at 2:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Toby Stephens officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM prior to services on Sunday.

Mr. Carlyle passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017 in Oakland Park, FL.

Survivors include: his mother, Joyce Petty; his father and stepmother, Robert L. Carlyle, Jr., and Beatriz Carlyle; one sister, April Carlyle; two brothers, Rob Carlyle and Jason Carlyle; two half-sisters, Bethany Abundo and Tammy Smallwood; one half-brother, Benjamin Carlyle; one step-brother, Billy Petty; and one step-sister, Crystal Osborne.

An Atlanta, GA native, Mr. Carlyle was born on October 5, 1971, the son of Robert Lee Carlyle, Jr and Joyce Mayton Petty. He worked in construction.  Mr. Carlyle was preceded in death by his step-dad, Deryle Petty and his grandparents, Thomas and Lee Mayton, Edward and Thelma Cox, and Robert Carlyle, Sr., and Sue Carlyle.
