I am so very sorry to learn of Mrs. Benson's death. I was fortunate to have been her student at Auburn High and my mom remained a friend and fellow teacher with her after I left Auburn. You are in my prayers.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of this wonderful teacher and mentor. Mrs. Benson greatly influenced my passion as a writer, encouraging her students to find their own style. I think and speak of her often. Her family and friends have my deepest sympathy and condolences.

LaRue and family,
I was so saddened to hear of Linda's passing. She and I enjoyed many good times through grade school, Jr. High and at HHS. Very few of us could compete with her in English Literature class; she was so smart.
My sincere sympathy to all of you now and in the days ahead. May God bless and comfort you.
