Memorial services for Sarah Kate May, age 90, of Roanoke, will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at 1:00 PM from Roanoke Christian Church with Rev. Wes Kinsey officiating. Quattlebaum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. May passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017, at Traylor’s Nursing Center.

Survivors include one son, Floyd May (wife, Lynne) of Wetumpka, AL; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dot Bolt of Roanoke and Hilda Klaus of Orlando, FL.

A Georgia native, Mrs. May was born on May 19, 1927, the daughter of William and Flossie Floyd Stephens. She was a member of Roanoke Christian Church and had been employed by Palm Beach for 46 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Linda Breed; one sister, Jean Davis; and two brothers, C.L. Stephens and John Stephens.
