Angela, Ricky and Lee,
I am so sorry about the loss of your Father. And, unfortunately, I cannot attend the service. I have many great memories of times spent together. And, I am so thankful for Ricky and Uncle Ivan attending the birthday lunch for Mother in Dec. Hope to see ya'll soon. Love.

Ricky, Angela, Lee:
Shirley and I have been so saddened over the loss of your Dad. He was a special person. We have had a lot of fun over the years. Over the years, each time we would see each other, either him or I would say, "Tell the Truth, Callie". When he sold insurance in Montgomery, one of his customers told him, "Mr. Moore, I just ain't got no money, today". Her husband, sitting over in a corner, said "Tell the truth, Callie. You know you ain't nothing but an old wine head". We have gotten good mileage from this.
No one could ever have a better brother-in-law and all of us will certainly miss him.
Blessings to all of you.

Brother Moore will be greatly missed. Enjoyed the talks we would have when I would visit him as we sit out on the poarch at Williamsburg Manor and discussed his life as I knew him growing up in the Roanoke area. He was a very fine man and a true Masonic Brother....

Your Dad's legacy to me was allowing me to be a part of his family. It was during an extremely difficult part of my life and he could have so easily said, " Don't mess with that boy, Ricky. Instead I was accepted as I was, who I was. It made a difference in my life as to what road I could have traveled and to where I might have ended up. In knowing him, I have surely been blessed.
Love. Gordon

Mr. Moore,
I've thought about you many times since moving away from Roanoke. You were an awesome person and cared very much for your family. I always admired you and your sense of humor when you came into Wendy's. I hope you rest in peace and are greeted by many angels in heaven.
