Obituary of Evelyn Graham Tomblin

Funeral services for Evelyn Graham Tomblin, age 84, of Wadley will be held on Sunday, December 31, 2017, at 3:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Sprayberry officiating.  Burial will follow at Wadley City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00-3:00 PM on Sunday, December 31 before services begin.

Mrs. Tomblin passed away Friday, December 29, 2017, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.

Survivors include: one daughter, Debra Janes of Wadley; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Sara Wheeler and Sharon Millwood, both of Canton, GA; and one brother, Billy Graham of Canton, GA.

A Canton, Georgia native, Mrs. Tomblin was born on October 11, 1933, the daughter of Bert and Fern Graham.  She worked as the City Clerk for the City of Wadley.  Mrs. Tomblin was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill Tomblin; two sons, Tony and Steven Tomblin; and three sisters, Rachael Spivey, Wynell Harvin, and Peggy West.
