Obituary of Ina Bovene Stewart Langley

Funeral services for Ina Bovene Stewart Langley, age 97, of Wadley will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2018, at 2:00 PM from Corinth Christian Church with Rev. Jimmy Brand and Rev. Ricky Cummings officiating.  Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Saturday, January 27, 2018.  Mrs. Langley will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to services beginning on Sunday.

Mrs. Langley passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018, at Traylor’s Retirement Center.

Survivors include: one son, Mike Langley (wife, Carolyn) of Jacksonville, AL; two grandchildren, Karen Langley and Matt Langley; two great-grandchildren, Gavin Langley and Kingston Langley; one sister, Lena Seymour of Wadley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Matt Langley, Gavin Langley, Kingston Langley, Cody Brown, Rick Seymour, Wes Seymour, and Joel Perry.

A Wadley native, Mrs. Langley was born on June 11, 1920, the daughter of Wesley and Willie Parker Stewart.  She was a member of Corinth Christian Church and retired from Handley Mills and Clegg Manufacturing.  Mrs. Langley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Vernon Jackson Langley; two brothers, Pierce Stewart and Elton Stewart; and one sister, Mary Emma Siggers.
