Obituary of Betty Lou Cunningham

Graveside services for Betty Lou Cunningham, age 83, of Douglasville, GA will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. CST from Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Scott Whaley officiating. Quattlebaum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30-2:00 p.m. CST on Saturday.

Mrs. Cunningham passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at WellStar Douglas Hospital.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard Cunningham of Douglasville, GA; one son, Ricky Cunningham, Sr. (wife, Helen) of Smyrna, GA; one grandchild; three great-grandchildren; two cousins, C.L. Scott (wife, Patricia) and Sue Perry (husband, Bobby); and two dear friends, Al and Kathy Reger.

Pallbearers will be Tim Bridges, Al Reger, Brandon Reger, Lance Maxwell, Mark Ellis, and Ricky Cunningham, Jr.

A Jakin, Georgia native, Mrs. Cunningham was born on August 3, 1934, the daughter of James and Rosie Lovett. She was a member of Bright Star Methodist Church and was a homemaker.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Rose Gunner.
