Obituary of Terry Lee Lashley

Funeral services for Terry Lee Lashley, age 69, of Roanoke, will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 7, 2018, from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mike Brewer and Rev. Keith Benefield officiating. Burial will follow at a family cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 pm on Friday, April 6th.

Mr. Lashley died Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at Hospice LaGrange.

Survivors include his four greatest treasures, his grandchildren, Gavin Lipham, Breanna Carden, Reid Carden, and Ivee Lipham; two daughters, Brandy Carden (husband, Walt) of Woodland and Kristi Rollins (husband, Brent) of Rock Mills; special friend, Jennifer Rice of Roanoke; two Goddaughters, Ruby Rice and Angelia Rice both of Roanoke; two sisters, Sandra Baker (husband, Mack) and Myrna Laws (husband, Eddie) both of Rock Mills; two nieces and one nephew.

Pallbearers will be Walt Carden, Brent Rollins, Gavin Lipham, Reid Carden, Brian Laws, and Ty Baldwin.  Honorary pallbearer will be Ron King.

Mr. Lashley was born February 2, 1949, the son of Merna and Myrtle Stillwell Lashley.  He had worked as a self-employed carpenter and had served in the Marines.  Mr. Lashley was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Larry Lashley.
