OBITUARY
Funeral services for Ruby Charlene Spears, age 55, of Roanoke, will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at 11:00 am from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. S. T. Janney officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, April 11th.
Mrs. Spears died Saturday, April 9, 2011, at her home.
Survivors include four sons, Michael Wesley Spears of Winchester, Va., Timothy Dale Spears (Wanda Mae), James M. Spears and Cody Crawford, all of Roanoke; one sister, Naomi Teel of Roanoke; one brother, Jimmy Bozeman of Roanoke; and two grandchildren, Halie Elizabeth Spears and James Lewis Spears.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Bozeman, Gary Edwards, Dustin Synder, Tim Pollard, Terry Bridges and Herbert Higgins.
A lifelong Randolph County resident, Mrs. Spears was born December 1, 1955, daughter of James Junior and Hattie Ruth Kite Bozeman. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Spears was preceded in death by her parents.
