Obituary of Kutine Hendley Smith

Funeral services for Kutine Hendley Smith, age 63, of Roanoke, AL, will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2018, at 2:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ed Halsey officiating. Burial will follow at Napoleon Church of Christ Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 PM on Sunday.

Mrs. Smith passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018, at her home.

She is survived by her husband, Kerby Smith of Roanoke; two sisters, Deborah Young of Roanoke and Evelyn Young of Roanoke; one niece; two nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Young, Jason Young, Dylan Hendley, James Hill, Mark Ramsey, and Willard Earl, Jr.

A Randolph County resident for most of her life, Mrs. Smith was born on December 4, 1954, the daughter of Howard and Sara Harris Hendley. She was a member of Springfield Baptist Church and had worked as machine operator for Handley Mills, Plantation Patterns, and Candlewick Yarns. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Billy Hendley and James Hendley; and one sister, Linda Hendley.
