I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the Ozley family. Losing a loved one is never easy. However, the Bible offers us a wonderful hope in that we will see these precious ones again in the near future (John 5:28,29). Lisa, Daphne and John— I am so sorry to have missed the memorial service for your parents. I didn’t know about it neither did my brother Ambers. We don’t live in Roanoke, so we didn't know about it til after the service. Your Mom and Dad were special cousins of ours didn’t get to see them much, but that doesn’t matter, We still loved them. Quattlebaum’s was founded in 1930 by Robert B. Quattlebaum on Roanoke’s West Point Street. Relocated to Maple Drive, Quattlebaum Funeral Home was just across from Knight Sanatorium for many years. In 1953, a new building was constructed on College Street – where the funeral home is today.
