OBITUARY
Funeral services for, Mr. Thomas Eugene Cox, age 60, of Roanoke, will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, April 14, 2011, from the Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Shannon Mapp officiating. Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 13th.
Mr. Cox died Monday, April 11, 2011 at his home.
Mr. Cox is survived by his wife, Janice Robinson Cox of Roanoke; his mother, Marjorie Baldwin of Roanoke; one daughter, Angie (husband Barry) Loveless of Wedowee; one son, Tommy( wife Adrianne) Cox of Fortson, GA; two sisters, Cindy Cox Whaley of Roanoke, Mary Ann Brown of Roanoke; four brothers, Tim Cox of Roanoke, Jim Baldwin of Carrollton, GA, Kenneth Baldwin of Roanoke, Danny Baldwin of Anniston; six grandchildren.
Mr. Cox was born, January 4, 1951, the son of Earl Eugene and Marjorie Josephine Bevil Cox. He was of the Baptist faith and had been a maintenance planner for the Exxon Mobile. Mr. Cox served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Flowers will be accepted or donations to the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be expressed at www.quattlebaumfuneralhome.com.
