Obituary of Donald Rodney Taylor

Funeral services for Donald Rodney Taylor, age 75, of Roanoke, AL, will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018, at 12:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Thomas Britt and Bro. Ron Newsome officiating. Burial will follow at Rock Stand Congregational Christian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 AM on Friday.

Mr. Taylor passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at Regional Medical Center.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lee Criswell Taylor of Roanoke, AL; one daughter, Lisa Montgomery (husband, Bill) of Anniston, AL; and two grandchildren, Walton and Will Montgomery.

Pallbearers will be Bill Montgomery, Walton Montgomery, Will Montgomery, Robert Clausen, Bonney Weathers, and Brian Segrest.

A Randolph County resident for most of his life, Mr. Taylor was born on December 7, 1942, the son of Charlie B. and Doris Pope Taylor. He was a member of Rock Stand Congregational Christian Church and was a photographer. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Harold Taylor.
