Obituary of Josie Pearl Middlebrooks
Funeral services for Josie Pearl Daniel Middlebrooks, age 92, of Roanoke, will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 2:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Floyd, Rev. Lynn McClain, and Rev. Otis Hodnett officiating. Burial will follow at Heritage Baptist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 to 2:00 on Wednesday, August 22, 2018.
Mrs. Middlebrooks passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018 at Traylors Retirement Center.
Survivors include: Three son; Gary Daniel(wife, Jo) of Douglasville, GA; Stanley Daniel(wife, Suzanne) of Roanoke; Steve Daniel(wife, Elaine) of Roanoke; one daughter; Christi Treadwell(husband, Bobby) of Roanoke; one sister; Barbara Ann Akin of Roanoke; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren
Pallbearers will be Tim Daniel, Chuck Daniel, Russ Daniel, Brad Treadwell, Scott Daniel, Clint Daniel, Eric Daniel, Blake Treadwell, Ben Treadwell, Chad Daniel.
A Roanoke native, Mrs. Middlebrooks was born on November 2, 1925, the daughter of Ernest Johnson and Beatrice Fincher Johnson. She was a member of Marvin Parkway Baptist Church and worked at Palm Beach and Stephanie Fashions. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter; Angie Daniel; three brothers; Tom L Johnson, Henry Johnson, Allen Johnson; one sister; Mary Adcock; one great-grand daughter; Taylor Daniel.
