Obituary of Ronnie Hogan

Funeral services for Ronnie Hogan, age 55, of Wadley will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018, at 1:00 PM CST at Community Baptist Church with Rev. Claude Bennett and Rev. Dennis Farr officiating.  Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM CST on Thursday, October 11, 2018.  Mr. Hogan will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to services beginning on Friday.

Mr. Hogan passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

Survivors include: his mother, Jeanett Booker of Five Points, AL; five sisters, Shelia Cowart (husband, Dan) of Tyrone, GA, Toni Griffin (husband, Mike) of Valley, AL, Sylvia Watts (husband, John) of Marion,  SC, Kathy Morgan (husband, Roger) of Alex City, AL, and Anita Hogan of Alex City, AL; one stepsister, Teresa Irvin (husband, Bill) of Newnan, GA; three brothers, Darrell Hogan (wife, Mindie) of Hogansville, GA, Gerald Hogan (wife, Theresa) of Jacksons Gap, AL, and David Hogan (wife, Lowanna) of Davidson; one stepbrother, Frank Booker of Pine Mountain, GA; 11 nieces and 12 nephews.

Pallbearers will be Dan Cowart, John Watts, Mike Griffin, Chad Hogan, Travis Rooney, and David Eunice.

A Newnan, Georgia native, Mr. Hogan was born on May 31, 1963, the son of James Hogan, Jr., and Doris Jeannett Redding Booker.  He was Baptist by faith.  Mr. Hogan was preceded in death by his father, James Hogan, Jr., and stepfather, Billy Booker.
