Obituary of Geneva Jones
Funeral services for Geneva Jones, age 92, of Roanoke, will be held on January 5, 2019, at 12:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Wade Price officiating. Burial will follow at Beulah Baptist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00-12:00 on Saturday, January 5, 2019.
Mrs. Jones passed away on January 2, 2019 at Traylor’s Nursing Home.
She is survived by her daughters, Gail Cummings (King) of Lebanon, TN, Jan Haraleson (Tommy) of LaGrange, GA; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A Roanoke native, Mrs. Jones was born on October 3, 1926, the daughter of Monroe Clinton Hood and Eula Pearl Kent Hood. She was a member of Beulah Baptist and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, William David Jones; son, Dwayne David Jones; sister, Lillian Hood Hammond; brother, Wendell Kenneth Hood.
