Obituary of Judith Ann Mapp

Funeral services for Judith Ann Mapp, age 75, of Wadley, will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Wadley First Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Sprayberry and Rev. Paul Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Fellowship Baptist Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, January 18, 2019.  Mrs. Mapp will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services beginning on Saturday.

Mrs. Mapp passed away on January 16, 2019 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL.

She is survived by her daughters, Libbra Barker (Dewey) of Gulf Breeze, FL and Abra Camp (Andrew) of Wadley; son, Ernest Lee Mapp Jr. of Wadley; three grandchildren; sister, Paula Reinhardt of Madeira Beach, FL.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Norred, Shannon Mapp, Bryant Mapp, Bill Puckett, Mike Owens, Coty Yarbrough, Kenneth Mapp, Wayne Mapp, Lon Howard, and Ray Cox.

A St. Petersburg, FL native, Mrs. Mapp was born on November 6, 1943, the daughter of Paul Edward Reinhardt and Annetta Cooley Reinhardt. She was a member of Wadley First Baptist Church and had worked at Randolph County Hospital. Mrs. Mapp was also a member of the Quest Club. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ernest Lee Mapp Sr.
