Funeral services for Florence Irene Waldrep Henderson, age 68, of Roanoke will be held on Monday, February 25, 2019, at 12:00 noon at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Scott Whaley officiating.  Burial will follow at Rock Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM -12:00 PM on Monday, February 25 before services begin.

Mrs. Henderson passed away Friday, February 22, 2019, at her home.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Henderson of Roanoke; one daughter, Tammy Rice of Roanoke; one grandchild, Stacey Rice; two sisters, Willene Kelly and Angela Mintz, both of Lakeland, FL; and one brother, Randy Langley of Roanoke.

Pallbearers will be Robbie Ussery, Zack Langley, Kyle White, Preston McGill, James McGill, and Terry McGill.  Honorary pallbearers will be Barry Waldrep, Jerry White, Reggie Sikes, and Marshall Wilson.

A Roanoke native, Mrs. Henderson was born on July 11, 1950, the daughter of Alonzo Lawrence and Mary Lucille Owens Waldrep.  She was a member of Souls Harbor Baptist Church and worked in the spinning department at Mohawk.  Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Mozelle Wier, Louise Galberiath, Wilma McGill, and Mildred Puis; one brother, James Waldrep; and one stepbrother, M. V. Langley.
