Memorial services for Franklin Eugene Holliday, age 80, of Roanoke, will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at 11:00 AM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Pastor Shirley Meddick officiating.   

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 –11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 24, 2019.

Mr. Holliday passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at his home. 

Survivors include his wife, Jenny Fetner Holliday; one daughter, Stacey (Nick) Schultz of Farmington, MN; one son, Eric Holliday of Rochester, MN; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two great grandchildren; six step-great grandchildren; sister, Debra (Gordon) Hice of Marietta, GA; and one brother, Jerry (Pat) Holliday of Satellite Beach, FL. 

A Quinnimont, West Viriginia native, Mr. Holliday was born December 17, 1938, the son of Loris Holliday and Bessie Tilley Holliday.  He was a member of Lowell United Methodist Church and had been employed with IBM as a computer technician specialistHe was preceded in death by his parents; one infant daughter, Megan Holliday; three sisters, Nancy Chumbley, Linda Farnsworth, and Cassandra Bloomquist; and one brother, J.R. Holliday.    

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Lowell United Methodist Church, 325 Handley Avenue, Roanoke, AL 36274.
