Obituary of Wyatt Herren

Funeral services for Mr. James Wyatt Herren, age 78, of Roanoke, AL, will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2019, at 3:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tyler Worthey officiating.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 – 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 21, 2019.

Mr. Herren passed away on Friday, April 19, 2019, at his home. 

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Strickland Herren; two daughters, Rhonda Baldwin of Wadley and Angie Hayes of Bethlehem, Georgia; two grandchildren.

A Roanoke native, Mr. Herren was born November 27, 1940, the son of Amos Herren and Mittis Cranford Herren. He worked with the water department for the City of Roanoke and had been a member of the Roanoke Masonic Lodge.   Mr. Herren had also been a member of the Roanoke Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandmother, Jo Cranford and an uncle, Paul Turner.
