Obituary of Monta S. Wilkinson

Funeral services for Monta S. Wilkinson, age 72, of Rock Mills will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Stanley Yarbrough officiating.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, April 25, 2019.

Mrs. Wilkinson passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at Emory Hospital Midtown in Atlanta, Georgia.

Survivors include her husband, Ernie Wilkinson of Rock Mills; two sons, Trae Wilkinson (Anna) of Roanoke and Bill Wilkinson (Siri) of Millsboro, DE; and three grandchildren, Trent, Tori, and Margot.

Pallbearers will be Trent Wilkinson, Ricky Sledge, Bill Head, Jim Banks, Matt Knight, and Roger White.

A Roanoke native, Mrs. Wilkinson was born on December 31, 1946, the daughter of Gerson and Lucille Bailey Smith.  She worked as a Registered Nurse.  Mrs. Wilkinson was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Melissa Wilkinson.
