Obituary of Mary Caldwell Knight
Graveside services for Mary Caldwell Knight, age 81, of Wadley, will be held on Monday, May 27, 2019 at 11:00 AM from Corinth Congregational Christian Church Cemetery with Rev. Ricky Cummings officiating.
The family will receive friends at Corinth Congregational Christian Church from 9:30 to 11:00 AM on Monday, May 27, 2019.
Mrs. Knight passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019, at her home.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Billy Knight of Wadley; daughters, Debra Kirk and Brenda Ray, both of Wadley; sons, Don Knight and Nicky Knight, both of Wadley; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; sister, Sally Gilliland (Dale) of Geraldine, AL and brother, Reggie Caldwell (Jennifer) of Wadley.
Pallbearers will be Brian Caldwell, B.J. Knight, Alex Laney, John Knight, Scott Taylor, and Jason Caldwell.
A Wadley native, Mrs. Knight was born on March 26, 1938, the daughter of Jairl Caldwell and Harriett Jones Caldwell. Mrs. Knight was a faithful member of Corinth Congregational Christian Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Jo Ray; brothers, Max Caldwell, Neil Caldwell, Harold Caldwell, and Donald Caldwell; daughter-in-law, Rose Knight and son-in-law, Gregory Kirk.
